Solid-state radar antennas offer a much more efficient alternative in terms of both time and money. These systems last much longer than their older counterparts and can be ready to go in as little as 10 seconds, which means your radar will begin picking up signals almost instantly.
High definition
Solid-state radar antennas use pulse compression to transmit a pulse over a range of frequencies. The technology then processes the strength of returned frequencies to determine target size and space between targets, offering a more precise interpretation than magnetron-based radar antennas are able to accomplish. You can also sharpen beam width in order to increase the definition of your targets.
Short- and long-range detection
Many solid-state radars are able to offer you the best of both worlds by providing clearly defined targets as close as 20 feet as well as reliable long-range detection. Some models can accurately detect targets with a range of up to 72 miles.
